You show up and I’ll guide you. No two classes are the same. Playful with mini challenges is the perfect way to describe my style. We’ll use an approach that combines yoga, stress relief, mobility work, goal setting, and mindfulness that will set you up for success. And don’t worry, we won’t take ourselves too seriously in the process.

Personalized Goal-Setting Session
Together we’ll identify your wellness needs and what you’d like to get out of our time together. You’ll get a clear path on where to place your focus moving forward. Once you register, you’ll get a free 30-minute Wellness Assessment via Zoom.
My Style
I teach a client-centered type of yoga. We are all at different levels of movement and ability. My job is to make you feel comfortable moving in ways that suit your body best while giving the class lots of options. No class is the same. We breathe. We move. We enjoy an energized playlist. We’re on a journey to have fun while making the most of our mind, body, and wellness. I’d love to have you join us.
About Jody
As a yoga teacher and empowerment coach, I’m your wellness guide. I’ve been teaching yoga since 2007, and I’m obsessed with helping go-getters navigate physical and mental obstacles with less stress. I’m a master at helping you build strong foundations so that you can thrive in your body, mind, and life.
You have permission to come as you are and move in ways that feel good to you. Classes are sprinkled with intention, curiosity, playfulness, mini-challenges, and relaxation. I’m here to show what’s possible with continuous, compassionate growth.

Arrive 5-10 minutes early to set up your space (mat and two blocks).
Then we’ll pregame. And by pre-game, I mean myofascial release. I'll pick an area of the body that we'll focus on in class and use techniques to warm up the muscles and release pent-up tension before we dive in.
The class itself will be 60 minutes. It includes a warm-up, standing poses, cool down, and final relaxation to ensure you leave in calm yet powerful state.
We use light weights and resistance bands at times to boost our practice. They are always optional. Use them if they support your practice. Skip them if they don't.

I teach to all levels. I’ll give lots of options and you choose the best one for you. Have a specific concern? Let me know and we’ll come up with a perfect plan for you.

No, it’s not required but highly encouraged. Clarity is powerful. You identify what you need, which helps me tailor classes to you—resulting in your success.

We will be practicing in a training room. Make yourself cozy by bringing a mat, two blocks, and water. Wear layers and take them off as you warm up. I’ll be playing an upbeat mix of music to set the mood.

It’s normal to be nervous anytime you try something new. You’ll always hear me talking about listening to your body and doing what’s right for you. No two bodies are the same. I’ll provide options and you choose what’s appropriate for you.
